But if a map is played once without scouting and autosaves, why allocate 30 days to it? The game will take a maximum of 5 hours... or am I missing something?

No one suggested 30 days for a single map... 30 days were suggested for three maps, and I'm not complaining. Regarding the 5 hours... I'm not sure, as the map size, the presence of dungeons, and the difficulty are not yet clear (although it seems everyone is okay with the "Grand Master" difficulty?). It might indeed be enough for a week, but everyone might have their own problems in real life that could prevent them from completing it in time... (I've already spoken about myself).
