I confirm, there were no resources. He wandered through the snow, just skipped turns, and waited a long time for his turn. He found a secondary resource on the 3rd week. Due to the lack of resources, he built a Stronghold on the 2nd week and a Castle on the 4th week. There was a swamp and snow around, and flocks of firebirds :) He fought with the basic troop increase without reaching level 7. He almost wiped out all my troops in the final battle, but antimagic saved him :). So, he got lucky. He gave me a hard time, and we played for 6 hours because of him.
