List of changes 1.1 -> 1.2:

The patch officially removes the game's dependency on the DVD disc!
To perform the procedure of unlinking the game from the DVD disc, an active Internet connection is required.
Instructions:
- Install patch 1.2;
- Run the protect.exe file from the root directory of the game;
- In the "DiscFree Technology" section, select "Activate or deactivate application";
- Click the "Next >>" button;
- In the window that appears, enter the game registration number from the insert that comes with the disc;
- Click the "Next" button;
- Now the game starts without checking the DVD disc in the drive!

Fixes and improvements:

- Fixed the operation of portals on 64-bit operating systems (relevant for the digital version).
- Improved game performance on weak video cards.
- Runes are now correctly awarded when a character levels up.
- Experience is now correctly awarded for fleeing enemies after a battle with bosses.
- Quest icons and armies are now correctly displayed for NPCs with complex logic.
- The "Combat Alchemy" medal counter now works correctly.
- Post-effects that occur during the death of a unit now work correctly, even if the unit was moved from its position before death.
- Fixed properties of some items and characteristics of creatures.
- The "Trap" and "Time Warp" spells now work correctly in complex situations.
- Other minor bugs and flaws.
