Our competition is gaining momentum, and the first matches have been played. For some, the tournament started well, while others can only boast of losses. I want to support those participants who started with a defeat. I am also a newcomer; I joined the forum at the beginning of spring, but I know firsthand that defeat is not the end of the world. And it is not worth giving up on the tournament just because things are not going as planned. Of course, after losing, you receive a powerful dose of negative energy and are very upset. This is a perfectly natural state for any person in such a situation, regardless of which faction they play. But it is the ability to overcome negativity, not give up, and tune in to fight again that distinguishes a true warrior from the rest.
So, how can this be done best?
First of all, you need rest: as Roger Zelazny said, sleep is like parentheses that enclose the past day; what irritated you today will only cause a smile tomorrow.
Secondly, physical activity. Do you think a Heroes of Might and Magic 3 tournament is just entertainment? In fact, it is very serious; Heroes of Might and Magic 3 is a hypodynamic sport. And do you know what its insidious danger is? Sport is, first of all, stress, a load on the heart, but physical activity protects the body, saving the nervous and cardiovascular systems. There is no such activity in chess or Heroes of Might and Magic; the player does not notice that they are leading a sedentary lifestyle. At the same time, simple and accessible physical activities, such as running, swimming, or even just a walk, can restore your fighting spirit and enjoyment of the game.
There is another way: a joint analysis of the match with your opponent. After the game, it is good to discuss the main points, what worked and what did not. A few lines in a chat will calm the agitated thoughts. So, if you won, do not show off; be polite to your opponent (because you truly create a beautiful game together). And if you lost, do not whine or beat yourself up; comment on the game a little detachedly (red-blue, Castle - Rampart).
In general, I wish everyone +100 Fighting Spirit, and do not leave our tournament; victories will come. Definitely:smile20:
