It's unclear about the Rust Monsters – a hive plus 2 groups equals 12,000, but a single Rust Monster is 26,000; it seems like a bug.
There's also a coefficient involved; for these values, it hovers around 2. So, everything is correct. Medium_HP
5th-level monsters also appear in the Dungeons – Wood Nymphs, Monks, Earth Elementals, Pit Fiends. I haven't seen Liches, Minotaurs, Cows, or Djinns even once; I'm not sure about Barbarians. It seems there are some limitations on specific monster types. 6th-level monsters, both upgraded and non-upgraded, easily fit within the 6,000 limit, but the generator doesn't use them in these scenarios. Perhaps these limitations in the Dungeons and the Trials differ from each other, at least regarding 5th-level monsters.
Here's the situation: both WoG and TE were made for fixed maps. Therefore, the generator wasn't touched at all. In any case, even if it had been touched, I would have probably heard about it. But I haven't. Therefore, choosing between the options: 1) the generator was touched, 2) another addition to the myths and legends about the generator, I consider the second option more likely. I've heard many such tales, including those supported by some statistics.
