It was a fun game :) The opponent was significantly ahead of me in stats. At the beginning, I couldn't decide whether to develop Vittorio or Laslo. In the end, Vittorio turned out to be better, reaching level 21 by the time I met the opponent's main hero. I reached the treasure trove slightly earlier than Sinithar, which helped. In the same turn, I noticed armor, a ring of speed, a couple of dwarven boots, a couple of amulets, and a dwarven shield. I thought about taking them and retreating to my castle to break through the enemy's main force (they had Undead) and re-specialize with a mentor there. But seeing Sinithar and the bracers, I slightly changed my plan, as the chain of events was already set. I bought whoever I could and, after taking the bracers, attacked him. I only had 39 magic points, but he hit me hard with cold and especially with Armageddon. From the army, I had ~350 militia, 270 archers, 30 knights, 30 griffins, 6 + 7 (alternate) monks, and 6 Archons. In the end, I had half of the militia and archers left, plus 30 griffins that flew away before Armageddon. But the opponent's main hero was defeated, and the artifacts remained with me :) He didn't drag out the game and surrendered, which I greatly respect him for (he managed to watch the football game). I guess I was just lucky, although I played better than in the first game. I'm trying to improve my strategy ;)
