From the outside, it looks like this:
One mafia member makes serious accusations, the second supports them, and then they all decide to eliminate Vis.

Revan is suffering from paranoia again :)

In general, you are reasoning correctly, but strong accusations always drive justice :) So, this is just one of the possible scenarios, I don't argue - but on the other hand, it's quite understandable)

Damn, I said something stupid. Anyway, I meant that it is quite possible that this is a coordinated team of mafia members - but the probability that it is just the power of justice is no less :)
