I don’t think this issue can be resolved amicably, so I suggest the following solution to avoid any resentment. If players have fundamentally different opinions about the map size (considering that a very large map is still a large map), a draw will be held. The opponents assign even or odd numbers to the sizes themselves, and each of them sends me the numbers 0 or 1 via ICQ, respectively. I will then add them up and announce the sum, which can be either even or odd. Accordingly, if the sum is odd, an odd size will be generated; if the sum is even, an even size will be generated. It’s quite simple.
