1. Selection of towns. There is a good, well-established, banning system, but... it's a bit concerning that some towns are rarely used, for example, Conflux, Fortress – they simply aren't given. Does anyone have any suggestions? You could play random, but then the advantage of being able to ban properly is lost...
A betting system could be considered...
2. Disconnects. Ideally, the troops are dispersed, and the battle starts over. The second option is to replay the turns until the result is as close as possible. I don't really like either option; does anyone have any thoughts on this matter?
Take a screenshot and describe the situation at the moment of the disconnect. If the outcome is not obvious, then disperse the killed troops and place the remaining ones in positions according to the screenshot. Then fight, making sure to spend no more mana than was left at the moment of the disconnect. IMO, this is the fairest option.
