Dialogues with Moderators

I know from personal experience how unpleasant it is when your posts are deleted and people respond to them. I think that either posts should be completely deleted, or left untouched (except in cases of profanity or direct insults). Alex's attempt to play the role of the "bad cop" is commendable, but it's still not the right approach. Why provoke users into conflicts with the administration? Does anyone need more conflicts like the ones that led to Invisible and Loy leaving? Vlk already has 97 points. :eek: Isn't that a bit too high for a newcomer, Alex? Remember that this person is actively participating and discussing topics. Do you think banning him (or his departure) will benefit HW? Think about that first, and don't look for hidden insults or trolling in posts. Take vbn as an example.
