Yeah, and we won't survive without the sun...

We will survive if we find an alternative sun... the question is whether we will be able to adapt to another planet - because a suitable one will certainly differ from Earth in terms of gravitational field, etc. And people are currently used to living in Earth's gravitational field... We will need many generations to adapt to another planet in advance, otherwise, we will most likely die shortly after moving there...
