What (or who) do fans of "Heroes" dislike?

I read somewhere that, in case the Sun expands, they plan to build some towers on the equator and install powerful jet engines on them, activating them each time they face the Sun. It was mentioned that this could allow them to reach Jupiter's orbit in about 30 years. However, I'm not sure if we would collide with Mars or some asteroid.
