The randomizer gave Necropolis and Banshee. Phil gave me 5100 to play Necromancer. We chose all restarts. It dealt out some kind of horror. A tiiiiiiny patch of snow, and even the ore mine was behind blockers and a 4-day detour. On the first turn I captured my native village and somehow ended up near the purple computer, which also turned out to be native. In the end, three towers, but I could only build the Naga in the Citadel in the first one, while the computer kindly built +1000 and Golems. Iona leveled up to 9 by the end of the week. On 121 I bought out in all except the main one, and during the transition the blue player appeared and took everything. On 122 I take it all back. I holed up with Josephine and growth in the computer's castle and fished for chumps, cutting off the noob with 10-19 Vampire Lords. Upon transition, Rylund with Vampires charges into the throne Griffin Conservatory in the snow, but it turns out to be maxed and 15 Vampires can't handle it. A surrender follows. Saved
P.S.: If Rylund had attacked the castle, he could have cheaply bought off Josephine with advanced diplomacy. Although if the Griffin Conservatory had been level 3, it would have fallen and I would have had to surrender.
P.P.S.: The third game we decided to part ways in peace - a draw. Score 1.5-1.5
Thanks for the games and for organizing such a match! ;)
