The rematch took place. The generation was lousy, slow roads, starting army without gogs because Fiona arrived, seven dogs, second hero Verdish with 11 gnolls. Immediately ran for magic stat boosts and built the Mage Guild, nothing else was in the cards. On day 113, I hoped the passage in the teleport would have light guards. But my opponent doesn't take a rest, I break through on day 114 with swords and there are medusas with an exit to Barbarian secondary, the other road leads medusas into the swamp, I replenish mana at the well, kill the royal medusas with losses. No development strategy whatsoever. By day 116, finally with 5 heroes, sold all resources for this at two markets. Day 117, found some Barbarian caches, since the +2 life artifact is showing, I decide to go for demonology. At home: 1-5 in the Citadel + Mage Guild. In the secondary town: Tavern. Day 122, life finally started, I take the Dwarf Cottage with Pyre (6-5-3-4), buy a 6th hero, build the Prefecture. Then Pyre bashes home, where I learn Light Bolt and Blind, increase spell power by 2, break through the medusas into the swamp. Pyre goes to take the tier-2 Griffin Conservatory at the respawn, demonology is forgotten :D . Days 125-127, I take the Griffin Conservatory using various trash (90 goblins, wolves, 14 gogs, etc.) and Bolt, lose half my army (morale still goes the griffins' way), but now with angels, Pyre with 2 angels replenishes mana and goes for the +3 life artifact, there are under 48 magi with the grail effect. The battle is on the edge, but morale wasn't going the clerics' way. On the third, Pyre bashes into the Barbarian secondary and plans to take another Griffin Conservatory on the tundra, meanwhile the noobs captured the +3 shield and took another Griffin Conservatory for 1 angel. But I miscalculated here — took a medusa bank with my main on quick-combat (forgot to turn it off), which drained all my mana (and Pyre had already become an expert in Earth magic) + money situation isn't great, so I didn't waste time on the Griffin Conservatory, went into the treasure zone, carve up demons, fight purely with meat, no magic. Day 133 — max Naga Bank with a grand stack, lost a few demons, but shopped big. Got 60+ of them, but didn't find any Dragon Utopias, took a minimal Dragon Fly Hive, a chest for 30 Wyverns and Monarchs (stupidly lost another angel). I collect the Golden Bow for 9 grand creatures, enter 2 Rings of Power and the University. Day 136, I bash home to replenish mana, stats 13-14-10-7, level 16. I make a mistake again, didn't manage to bring the Scholar hero with Slow. Day 137, a noob takes a tier-3 Griffin Conservatory. On the map, two entrances to treasure zones are scouted, besides the one I was already in, one in the swamp (I specifically leveled Pathfinding), the other in the mud. But something doesn't draw me there (as it turned out after the game, both were uncommonly stale). I gather the army and hit the GO near the teleport, there's a horde of magic elementals, I carve them up almost without losses. Dive into the teleport and there are Titans. :( Well, nothing to be done, I attack, where I lose all the pits, 2 angels, and just under 20 demons, then hide, fearing an attack. Days 137-141 — at the stable with a fire next to it, blue's heroes gather on pegasi, including Ivor, who seems to be the main one. Pyre with three angels and 3 birds attacks, wipes all the noobs, Ivor has a +2 speed artifact. She herself goes through the stables, and lo and behold, there's a mana well, which was almost all spent on the GO. Money is decent, 1000 in each of three castles, in the main one — a Marketplace + Mine, so I push forward. No attack. Day 142, I scout and see Ivor in the castle. The army is unimpressive, and the stats are downright weak. I think, gather the army, attack. No Slow, but there's Shield and Stone Skin, Light Bolt. Pyre level 17 (13-14-10-8), +1 speed, 10% resistance (didn't work once). Army: 3 angels, 52 demons, the rest small fry. My opponent's Ivor (13-14-4-4) roughly like that, 23 Unicorns, 38 Elves, 5 Dendroids, 6 Wyverns, + singles. Mass Slow hits me immediately. Magic is expensive for me, but I manage. Though late, I cast Shield, and then the demons tore the Unicorns apart. Thanks!
