This is my third playthrough, and I've realized that it's best to do it this way.
Debir, Crimson Wind, Bolo, Rusty Anchor.
But I haven't completed that quest for Horned Beast even once – I'm too lazy to waste time swimming back and forth, buying 150 extra warriors...
I only recently noticed that on the second island – Crimson Wind – you can get a useful artifact – a shark tooth! (+5% experience and gold per battle) by talking to Jimmy Crow (whom you can optionally recruit as a hero). If you build the dialogue correctly:
- It's not what's on the outside that matters, but what's on the inside......
- You saved a girl from a shark, that's amazing!......
get the artifact!!!!

Yeah, the tooth is a useful item. Small bonuses, but they're still helpful. Just need to have a nice conversation with him, and that's it. And I've already noticed that a lot depends on the initial randomness.:) Guys, what troops do you take, and how do you manage to complete everything without losses?:)
I cleared the first island completely with a mage (on impossible difficulty) by completing all the quests. Troops: 1 griffin (found an egg on the way), inquisitors, inquisitors, inquisitors, inquisitors, archers. (1 thorn as a reserve)
Wrath, strike, fire arrow, excavation ;)

This game has already "stolen" two weeks from me :)
To deal 100,000 HP in three rounds???
The longest battle was 450+ rounds (I sat there all night, fighting Thomas Torquemada, Amelie was level 20, I think).
Seriously? Wow:smile11:
P.S. I should probably start playing the first game :o I hope you won't refuse to review the material for the first game... when I'm ready for the section about morale, abilities, and luck, and I write the section :o I consider you the main expert on the internet on this topic (and not only;) ):smile25:
