Yeah, my opponent and I scouted roughly the same territory, but I had few Dragon Fly Hives, and they had few Wyverns in them, while my opponent's Dragon Fly Hives turned out to be richer — a total of 50 ducks vs 15 with everything else roughly equal :( . And of course I was unlucky with utopias (only managed to take 2), they didn't give any good magic, a Book of Earth, Air, or a fifth-level hat would have definitely tipped the scales in my favor. A kettle +6 is useless when the best I have is Ice Bolt 390 and nothing more; even from 3 Mage Guilds of the second level they didn't give me Lightning Bolt :( . Also got unlucky with color — had my opponent not taken my capital on day 137, I would have had not 8 Angels in the final army, but 8 or 10 Archangels (depending on the fight date). I played the template for the first time, so I can't judge whether this is a template feature or just bad luck, but the respawns are very stretched out, which makes it inconvenient to play, although money and resources are nearly unlimited, which I also consider not quite right.
