Morale system.

Um, when you come to the sections for Heroes 3, King's Bounty, etc., and write that the game is crap, a failed project, and so on — do you really think people will pat you on the back and say "well done"? O_o Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but to spew negativity right off the bat? Somewhere in the thread about the attitude towards Heroes 4, Monsieur Shnurov wrote and tried to explain why this is not good, and it seems he wasn't the only one. I won't look up the exact quote and reveal the original author now, but I'll paraphrase roughly:
"If you come into someone else's house and start vehemently criticizing it (the wallpaper is a terrible color, the layout is awful, etc.) in front of the owner, how do you think the owner will treat you? How would you act yourself?" But I suggest we stop off-topic in this thread — it's dedicated to the morale system after all.

I opened the Heroes 3 section, read through it, and found that only 1 post out of 10 has useful information; the rest are polls, post padding around discussions of so-called tactics, monster features, and walkthroughs. And should all of that be evaluated by the BD? And posts like "I agree" shouldn't exist at all in thematic sections; others should only read the subject of the topic being discussed.

The HeroesWorld portal is a mass one. It hosts not only top-level players but also simple fans of a particular part of Heroes, and maybe even more than one. There are chatterboxes who don't really play but love to discuss the game, and so on. They all have equal rights, and any topic like "which monster do you like?" has a right to exist, if only to jot down a couple of lines on a dull evening and unburden one's soul (well, that's for me :rolleyes: imho as they say). And how someone uses the opportunities given (the BD system and the rest) is their own business.
I'll reiterate, the system does a good job of weeding out one-line posts and adds its own shade of color to the overall palette of HeroesWorld. If you consider it an unnecessary color, that's your personal opinion, which has the right to exist. I was just trying to dispel some points that I think are not entirely accurate.
