Why should it inspire? O_o In my opinion, the main advantage of this system is that it eliminates monotonous posts like "I agree," "well done," "+1," and so on. Also, sometimes it's convenient to express something in the chat, like a joke or a mini-comment, so as not to write a banal "thank you" but to add something to it. And it's also a kind of attribute of fun and a friendly atmosphere. P.S., just don't promote the second part everywhere. One highly respected and ardent fan is enough. Moreover, your "criticisms" of the subsequent parts are not very convincing. But that's a completely different story.
