1) Punishment for organizers
There should definitely be some kind of punishment, but I've noticed that during my time here, only once did newcomers try their hand at organizing online tournaments, and once a 9-year-old boy tried to do it offline. In both cases, nothing good came of it. So, mostly, tournaments are organized by people who have been with us for a while, and the more serious problems are related to lax deadlines (I've certainly excelled at that :smile04:), like 2(!) unfinished tournaments from this year. There's also an older one, but there's definitely nothing to be gained from it anymore. And again, they point to me as an example – I don't publish all the information in the first post, but according to Pyty's rules, there are many points about the first post. :)
I can't suggest anything about punishments because I'm not objective :) but it definitely shouldn't be a ban from organizing tournaments for a certain period – in my opinion, only in the case of an organizer not completing the tournament or cheating.
2) Judge
We have vbn as our judge, and he seems to be doing a good job with this task, so I suggest him as a permanent candidate (I think he is always ready to help me, and I think he wouldn't refuse others either).
3) Composition of the AC (Administration Council)
I agree with the composition, except for my own candidacy :smile04:
TaKo is a wonderful girl, and a pretty good player, but she doesn't appear online very often, although there are other ways to contact her if needed – so I'm all for it (besides, I'm the Administration).
Alex_R – it's been a long time since he should have been assigned to public work – he's a strong player with a developed sense of camaraderie and teamwork, competent and experienced in identifying cheaters :smile08:
Mitsrael – I can't say anything about this player, except that once he completely ignored the first round and didn't participate, after which I didn't include him in the second round, and he gently said "ahem" to me. :)
Pit – If this person wanted to try his hand at organizing, I think he wouldn't miss a single detail. Besides, he's just a good person, always ready to help and be accommodating :) I'm also all for it.
Instead of myself, I would suggest Yegor – I hope he will have time for it. :)
4) Regarding flirting with cheaters and 50 points:
It's a long story, but I'll tell it: user RU is not a clone, but our beautiful-chested Jede, so the administration decided not to ban him.
After the text "I'm back" appeared, he immediately received 50 points and a warning that another 50 would be added if something went wrong. If you ban this user, they can easily create a new one, so banning them by profile is useless, and they are already banned by IP...
5) Regarding the administration
First of all, the Administration is the Creator, Yegor (red nicknames), followed by the coordinators – Luchik, the only one who reviews the entire forum, Hacker, and it seems like VDV (blue nicknames), followed by the moderators – myself, Takotoraya, vbn – moderators of sections and subsections (green and thin green nicknames).
That's the hierarchy. I doubt the Creator reviews section 3, or even visits the forum often? :) Yegor said in ICQ that he no longer hangs out on HW (I don't remember the exact wording). Hacker withdrew after the scandal with Jede and the ban of Loy and Sticky. VDV definitely doesn't visit section 3 – my announcement in his topic hung there for about six months until I contacted Luch. Well, the moderators are "our people," I hope. :) – so draw your own conclusions. ;)
6) Regarding general ratings
This question should be asked to people like Vbn, SS-D, and Sticky – I'm definitely not competent here, but I'm sure of one thing – the rating cannot be general in this case (imho, of course).
7) Regarding the generalization of rules
I think we should create a template with ready-made rules for fixes – so that, for example, I'm not bothered anymore about the rules "not to attack in the first eight days," etc.
Regarding the rules for SOY separately:
I think rules like banning conflict and 200% should be kept – this is a trademark, a label for the tournament, but the other parts of it definitely need to be refined – so that the trademark remains, and it's still possible to play without arguing about the rules.
Well, that's all for now, I might add something later, and Petya – mega-respect to you for such great rules! :)
