I think CONSERVATISM plays a huge role here for many forum users. You are used to playing your favorite Heroes 3, and all the new features are perceived aggressively by you. I, for example, started with Heroes 5. I liked it very much, and I wanted to see the classics, so I started playing Heroes 3. The first impression was simply terrible.
