I'm writing 2 reports in 1 topic, because 1 game was quite fast.
Game 1.
gen (blue, Conflux, rnd - Ignassa(?), Gunnar) def Kash (red, Castle, Valeska, Valeska) 2sm4d(3), 112
Took a restart on 113, then opponent on 113 and on 111, then me on 111 :) I might be wrong about the order, but all restarts were taken.
We play. I take Gunnar into folders, and then news of surrender arrives - as it turns out later, the opponent lost to neutrals.
Game 2.
gen (blue, Tower, Thosar, Thosar) def Kash (red, Castle, Valeska, Valeska) 2sm4d(3), 234
After mutual restarts (though I had one saved for 113), initially without built Gargoyles and without a 3rd hero for Tower. But we play...
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
111 - upgrade for blues, 1 Griffin Conservatory visible.
112 - everyone scatters in all directions, I lose some blues from the army. Scouting area visible. Built Gargoyles, gave them to the left hero to kill the stack of Skeletons.
113 - Revealed the scout area, another 1 Griffin Conservatory visible. And a Dragon Utopia, which is pleasing. And a road. To where - not yet clear (as it turned out later, the native castle. Lucky). Mage Guild built. GO visible - a horde of Manticores and a horde of Cyclopes.
114 - A noob with 9 Gargoyles loses to skeletons - quite stupid). The main hero with replenished mana goes to finish his job) Another noob with Arrow goes to scout what castle is above. Golems.
115 - A noob with 1 Gargoyle and Arrow - "bravo to him", defeats a solid castle guard) - nicely fit.
In the 2nd castle, Gargoyles are upgraded (probably stupid, since money is scarce). With them, he goes to clear what he can - a mill.
116 - Killed the Skeletons, opened the passage behind a stack of Harpies (upgraded) or a stack of Orcs. Passage to the underground - King. Griffins. But attacking is also scary... with just the blues :) Waiting for the end of the week. Mages without a Citadel... no money. (of the money buildings, only the Naga Bank is visible)
121 - Break the Harpies. Army - 10 Mages, about 50 Blues, a Gargoyle)
122 - 2nd city captured - Castle. The 2nd hero with Arrow buys Blues and the remains of Gargoyles - to hit the Crypt, restoring mana along the way. Finally, Sulfur for Nagas is found :) Yes, and most importantly - the scouting area revealed 3 more Griffin Conservatories. We live.
123-124 The noob takes the Crypt with considerable losses. 1 Griffin Conservatory - Trog.
125 - Attack the Spirits. The pests drain all mana, thankfully Arrow costs pennies. The Spirits gave a hovel with economy, 3 noobs go there to raise money)
126 - Second Griffin Conservatory - for 2 Angels. I prepare to clear it.
127 - I set up a chain for the Griffin Conservatory.
Total by the end of week 2: a weak hero of level 6(!!!)... with Water and Armor - there wasn't really anyone to fight. But with a more or less normal army at the start of the next week. In the castle - 1-7 + Citadel.
Somewhere around here I saw the opponent for the first time =) It became scary, because the development is weak.
131 - Took the Griffin Conservatory (losses BIG - the Griffons went berserk and killed 2 Giants(!) and many Gargoyles, gave 1 Angel to a noob, clearing everything in his path. I trudge to the only still unexplored Griffin Conservatory...
135 - Another 2 Angels. Total 3. Even with a chain and run-aheads - very slow.
Going to the Naga Bank.
137 - I'm at the Naga Bank... maximum stats, no Slow, and on snow I decide not to risk it.
Total for week 3 - Town Hall in the main castle, thousands in 2 castles. In the 2nd Tower - 1-4 (no Citadel, NO money).
141 - Take the Naga Bank, buy out the rest. Nagas in the 2nd castle. I go to the 3rd Griffin Conservatory with 2 Angels. Simultaneously upgrade all Nagas - total 9.
142-143 - 5 Angels in the pocket. I go down, breaking through a passage to the treasure zone along the way, looting a medusa nest (medium) and getting the Angel's Bow.
144 - Capitol in the main. No crystals for Djinns.
145 - A nook scouts the area behind a pack of Hydras.
145-147 Town Halls are built, in the 2nd Castle - a Castle (still no crystals for Djinns). A nook scouts 2 more Dragon Utopias (one of which turned out to be under the border), the Book of Earth under Fire Birds. The main hero goes to the 2 remaining Griffin Conservatories, where he stops at the start of the new week. :p
Very slow. The chain.
211 - PLAGUE  Which significantly spoiled my plans - about 25% of the troops were not bought out in the main... The main hero, not without losses, gets more Angels, total 12. I give 1 to a noob (who leveled up to 9, until he met the opponent's main hero), I could have given 1 more Angel.
212 - Stupidly lose 1 Angel to a horde of upgraded Monks (they are very angry), afraid to go to Hydras without Blind and Mass Slow. I crash into the nearest one where there is Blind.
214 - Take a Hive (6), kill the Hydras. A Shield +4 to All is visible. Easy
:D.
215-217 - Take the shield. BUT then the opponent's main hero appears... apparently with Dimension Door and Flight, as it turned out later. What to do - unclear. Won't have time for the chain, unlikely to scatter either.
221 - Opponent ran away (apparently to buy troops). I decide to take a Dragon Utopia (next after the minimal one) behind upgraded Trog Medusas, where I get Flight. According to the rules, Flight cannot be used... so in one of the castles (secondary) I urgently build a guild - I have to trade all resources, even gold from Utopias comes into play :smile40: The Utopia gave a Titan's Cuirass, Bracers, and some small items.
A nook opened another 1 Dragon Utopia (here it is - happiness) and a Sulfurus Lair (where the Acid Dragon is).
222 - Opponent appeared. Still far (actually, 1 turn away from me, as it turned out). Mild panic. I take down a few Spirit Dragons, they gave magic. Good magic. But since I got Wisdom as one of the last (either it's advanced, or even basic), I left it there... At the Wyvern Black Market, I buy a Cuirass +1 to All Skills.
223 (?) - 224 Second Dragon Utopia (minimal) behind a pack of Angels, I beat them, get - I don't remember, in short, from 2 Utopias gave a useful necklace.
All resources go to the Magic Guild. Rules above all, right? :smile40: But due to lack of time, I don't manage to buy the Acid Dragon - I stop right on the external dwelling.
The opponent's main hero appeared (from the subway). He climbs out and stops 1 Town Portal away from the castle - where all the troops are bought out, thankfully with my money after 3 Dragon Utopias it's easy.
As it turned out later, Expert Air Magic allowed him to peek into my maps - all heroes and castles like on the palm of his hand. He takes the castle and the next turn - attacks my main, thanks to Tactics I surrender (though, after Utopias, 25000 - peanuts ?) :D. Didn't even have to use the chain, though it was slightly broken.
I trade resources for a level 5 Magic Guild. Almost all poured in, all money.
225-226 - I buy back in the castle, load up on Djinns/Titans. Somewhere a little earlier, buying Artifact Merchants. (that's what wealth does to people!)
226-227 - I move towards the opponent's castle. He crashes into the main, I run back to my castle, breaking through a GO along the way - a horde of Manticores. I'm already using Flight extensively.
231-xxx We ran around, on
234 - I challenge the opponent to battle. I equip Bracers so he can't escape, String, all artifacts, buy the army, split the Djinns and - into battle. The main battle.
Too bad he bought my Dragon, that Acid Dragon)
Well, as for the final battle - instead of positioning according to Tactics, I hit Enter, wanted to take a screenshot... you know, they positioned themselves)
Thanks to his Archangels - 1 turn... Mass Haste. Archangels hit the Titans, a Griffin removes the retaliation from the Nagas, Cavaliers hit them too (I might mix up the order of events). Wyverns/Griffins hit them as well. I cast Implosion (I must say, it "decided" the battle - 2000 HP at once). And so on. The Djinns were pleasing - counterattack on the Angels) And many useful things - well done guys.
The Ballista gets a medal. It also worked splendidly.
In the end, when the Archangels fell after 2-3 turns, he started summoning Elementals - almost 70 at a time. Well, to prevent this, the Angels hit the shooters. Victory!
P.S.: A very long report, I don't really feel like writing another one like this.
Thank you to my opponent for both games. Especially for the second one.
