Yeah...that's right....

So - how do you throw a game that's going perfectly? Ask me! :D Crummy hands to the rescue! :)

So - the layout for Balance is excellent... Pasha picked Rampart - great, with a hometown and Val on Castle - just what the doctor ordered!

Griffin Conservatory at the castle (guarded by a hundred griffins - waiting), 2(!) external archer dwellings (both taken by week 1 day 1.6), on the 4th day - the hometown (naturally)... True, the archers weren't built in the castle - so I spend 2 days building and upgrading... Accordingly, by the end of the week, only cavaliers are in the citadel...

2nd week I'm just aimlessly running around the map... Set up 2 prefectures, a marketplace, monks, and the castle...

3rd week - finally a 2nd Griffin Conservatory at the castle... archers galore, and I'm messing up, running circles around the respawn :) Opened a dwarf dwelling, a nagabank 3, managed to squeeze in griffins and angels at the end of the week (as I now understand - shouldn't have done that... I should have bought out the whole army - would have turned out better). Valka with a hundred archers, 9 griffin conservatories, a couple of canned angels, and 40 pokemons at the border of the Necropolis respawn... At home, more than enough army - nothing particularly to buy them out with, and it seems enough for Valka for now anyway. (naive!)

4th week - I take a secondary Necropolis town with Valka, build a guild, learn Haste, stay there overnight. Next day - I take a Pandora's box for 5K experience, break through strong blocks to Infernal ground, advanced Air (alas)... And then - like a jack-in-the-box - Pasha emerges from the darkness.... (The first two screenshots - heroes before the meeting) He naturally crushes me - because he has Mass Haste and a speed advantage. And I don't have money to buy back... :( I lose the army, drop the remaining 49 archers, run away... At home I have a lot of un-bought troops - but essentially nothing to buy them with :( More precisely - I have enough money for about half of them.

And so, accordingly, after 3 days Pasha brings himself 25 wood - and attacks Valka in the castle. (The second two screenshots - heroes before the battle). Also basically hopeless - because there aren't enough troops, almost nothing is bought out...

If I had merged the army - would have won without question... But as it is - crummy hands and lack of foresight.
The main morale - don't go looking for adventures in the dark when at home you could gather 200+ archers, 5 angels, and other entirely un-bought army.:D
