Thanks to everyone, especially for the tip about what's embedded in the map. I thought you had to form an alliance during the game, like in the old games :-)
In general, if anyone needs it:
open H5_MapEditor.exe in the map editor
Go to Map Properties under View -> Map Properties
In the Teams tab, check the Teams box and select how many alliances you need on this map.

Guys, can you give me some specific advice on how to form an alliance in Heroes 5: Tribes of the East? We tried it, but it gave an error saying that we changed the game parameters, so the map disappeared. Is there any way to make allies?:smile01:
