Place the map in the Maps folder within the Heroes 2 directory. Yes, the Minerals map should be there. Then, you can open it in the editor and take a close look.

Then, think about how much gold you can collect and what you need to do to achieve that. Next, plan the optimization of routes, chains, and speed boosts. Then, do a rough playthrough, which can be done with the map open (it's advisable to save either manually or with autosave enabled). After that, analyze this playthrough, remember the behavior of the AI, and think about improvements. Then, depending on the situation, either start the final playthrough and refine it (don't forget to save every turn) or do another open playthrough, trying to implement the ideas that arose after analyzing the rough playthrough. Then, take a break for a few days, reflect, and make the final push. Don't forget to save!!!
