Has anyone played it?

I had an English version around 1996, which I copied onto 5.25 floppy disks, and later onto 3.5-inch disks. It wouldn't run under Windows 98, but it worked perfectly under Windows 95. I don't have the book. My friend found a copy of Heroes II, which runs under Windows XP, somewhere.
What do you mean by "Windows versions"? I guess it means I can set the settings to emulate Windows 95, but I just want to be sure I understand correctly.
