How to effectively use quick battles (autobattles)?

I don't know. And frankly, I'm not interested anymore after that. The computer wasn't exactly a powerhouse to begin with, and now it's even slower. I can't imagine a scenario where a Hydra creates 3 black dragons, and the party manages to take down a Utopia-level enemy. It must be one of the secrets to success for some players.
