:cool: This film begins as a typical pseudo-documentary depicting the life of an ordinary mortal virus: Britain is once again gripped by an epidemic of some inhumanly mutated scarlet fever, as a result of which the country's authorities found nothing better to do than declare Scotland a quarantine zone, closing it off from the rest of the island with an impenetrable fence, automatic machine guns, army patrols, and other rather unfriendly scenery. The land of proud Highlanders in kilts and strong whiskey becomes a reservation. People trapped in quarantine are doomed to die. There is no medical assistance, no food, not even cable MTV. McDonald's is also closed, by the way. All in all, it looks like the end. However, the population does not want to perish and creates its own society in the confined space, where its own laws reign and even a slow-burning but ruthless civil war smolders.
p.s.: the author did borrow some ideas from the "Mad Max" trilogy, but the film's concept itself was inspired by "Escape from New York," resulting in a terrible mishmash). And now, the slides )))
