Can Necromancers even be defeated?

I remember a game where I played against Captain-Navuhodonosor (in winter), and the Necropolis completely destroyed his castle. But generally, there won't be good statistics because sensible players usually avoid castle vs. Necropolis matchups in random games. I also remember a game between AlexGreit and Mizrael on a portal map, even with saves. The outcome was the same, although in that game, the starting Necropolis hero was random, which makes the game more challenging.
