The album covers have more of an aesthetic purpose, and personally, I find it more convenient to click on larger album covers. iTunes weighs in at around 80 MB and updates entirely, meaning 80 MB. This is, of course, a drawback, but with unlimited data, it's manageable.

I open the music folder, select the folder with the band, and drag it into Winamp. That's it.

Is it convenient to open a folder every time? It's fine if the library isn't very large, but the prospect of browsing through folders and dragging songs around doesn't seem appealing. If convenience isn't a priority, you can use foobar2000, which has a very simplified interface, and the sound quality is said to be very good (although I didn't notice it on my average speakers). But after trying it, I decided that organizing music is much more convenient than using playlists. And in iTunes, this organization looks the most beautiful, in my opinion.
