Winamp suits me just fine; I haven't encountered any issues with it. The thousands of plugins (which I love) allow me to play any format without problems. I don't store music in playlists, and I don't care about album covers; if I want to look at them, I'll do it separately. That's how I do it. I simply don't need iTunes.
