It could be faster: select 6 factions through voting and run 3 rounds (each with 2 tasks) lasting a month. Then, after 3 months, we'll have the Grand Prix.
Don't forget that at the end of each stage, the results of each task and the stage as a whole will be summarized.

Here's a better approach: choose 6 factions, divide them into three stages with two factions each, or two stages with three factions each, with 5 or 7 weeks per stage. The next stage starts immediately after the previous one ends, and the results are summarized during the stage... in parallel. At the end, we have the Grand Prix... what is the Grand Prix? For example, a competition between the top three?
