I propose a new race: Werewolves, Beowulfs, or Lords of Beasts.
They are the antithesis of humans, an intermediate race between the Undead and the Elves.
1. Wolves. Weak, but they compensate with numbers (a pack). Upgrade – werewolf wolves. Creatures capable of transforming into humans for one turn during the battle and casting small spells, such as instilling fear in peasants.
2. Boars. Powerful, but slow-moving. Upgrade – human-boars. Capable of shooting.
3. Werewolves. Creatures possessing the qualities of both humans and beasts. They instill fear in the enemy. In close combat, they poison the enemy unit, so that with each turn, a certain number of units transform into werewolves and switch to the opponent's side (depending on the hero's skill). Upgrade – werewolves capable of easily switching between states and attacking the opponent twice per turn.
4. Pale Riders (Vulture). Creatures on werewolf horses, capable of becoming invisible and suddenly appearing in front of the enemy, striking first.
5. Vampires. Creatures with bat wings. They fly. They attack from the air.
6. Sphinxes. Creatures with the body of a lion and the face of a human. They can paralyze and hypnotize with their gaze. The enemy unit involuntarily approaches them and perishes.
It would also be good if, once every four weeks (during a full moon), lower-tier units located in the castle at that time would advance to the next tier, consuming a certain amount of resources, say, or gold.
