I was afraid of berserkers on the other side, as water magic wasn't effective here. Bows would also have been a good counter. But both players skimped on melee units; I even bought liches last. However, I later realized that cloth armor would have been better. My opponent had archers, necoconstructs, cruisers (level 55), cloth armor (14), champions, dragons, and vampires. I had 32 liches, cloth armor, necoconstructs, vampires, necropolis dragons, minotaurs, and black dragons. Both players chose Earth magic. I waited for the cruisers to move to gather information about the plans and then used the liches' "Inspire" spell on the cloth armor, cruisers, and champions (-5, -12, -1). I saw that the archers were being protected and, after the liches were protected by cloth armor and minotaurs, I used a mass slow spell so that the remaining units would move after. I was afraid of a mass haste spell, but since it wasn't on the cruisers after the slow, it wouldn't be used. The blue player fortified with a mass shield. It wasn't possible to completely eliminate the archers, as the black dragons would have been vulnerable, and I was left with space to attack with both dragons. Aging ended the game prematurely.
