Why are you so upset about these images? They are tiny; it's like complaining about "flies that cause storms at sea." As for the text, it's large, so what? Maybe someone is interested in what song it is. If not, they can just not read it.

Even now, this is one of the most "heavy" sites. Of course, if someone has a speed of more than 1 MB/s, it doesn't really matter, but if the speed is lower or they are accessing the site from a phone (which, by the way, is an expensive option), then it does. Why should we cater to this "politeness"?:confused:

In general, in my opinion, there is nothing but silly or even cheap showing off in publishing these images. I personally find them extremely annoying, so I only visit the "everything about everything" section during moments of extreme boredom at work.
