Tactics for Rampart.

A question arose. Which building is best suited for construction on day 111? Previously, I built Elves and didn't worry about it, but now I'm thinking about it... How relevant is the Kentaur upgrade? For example, let's take a Knight who came without Elves, and in the tavern, there's also a hero without them and without Griffins:)
And what if, for example, you have 6 Elves from 2 heroes? In general, what's the best way to proceed and in what situations?
