Magneto (blue, Necropolis, Galthran, Galthran) def Kash (red, Castle, Valeska, Grindan), 2sm4d(3), 225
I took Gosha's castles and went after him into the treasure zone, but in the last days he eats three Dragon Utopias in a row and leaves no chances. I won't say it's luck; I'll explain it by my own slowness. But here is where I made a mistake and why I let the Necropolis player live in peace for so long:
Weeks 3-4. Wrong priorities set.
The situation was this – entrances to a huge desert from both secondary towns, in the middle you could see the top of a Dragon Utopia, who was closer – only a guess. At one entrance, a Griffin Conservatory was revealed behind a crowd of Ice Elementals (artifact for resistance), at the other – a Sword +2+2 and an Arena. What decided it was Grindan's stats being 2-1-18-10… (that's why I didn't risk going straight for the Necropolis player). I went from the second one, and here the trouble begins…. No pathfinding, and in the desert – mountains… Lots of boxes, dreaming of finding control to free myself from the chain, but there – gold, experience, 15 Thunderbirds, level 3 magic… In the chain, 8 people are already stuck square by square, construction is slowed down, I crawl further ahead, mentally imagining legions of skeletons…
In short, only on day 147 did I reach a Dragon Utopia, and a different one at that. Minimum loot, a tome with fire, total disaster. I curse and go to Conflux to learn Starfall, from there I fight my way to another secondary town, run to the second entrance, right at the entrance I take 4 Angels and a level-2 Dragon Utopia with a chalice! 1.5 weeks lost. That's basically it, I let the blue player develop, my own fault, there were chances. Yes, I also found free level 4 magic in his treasure zone, but that didn't save me from Gosha the killer anymore.
Thanks for the game and for the lesson
