Is metal dead?

Any nonsense like rap and hip-hop (not to mention pop) fills the TV and radio, for example, meaning there are more opportunities to hear it and become interested in it, and therefore fewer opportunities for metal. Here, let's not go there. Rap and other similar genres in their pure form are, in my opinion, nonsense, but when mixed with metal, it turns out quite well. In my library, LP, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, etc. coexist peacefully. One does not interfere with the other.
