actually, no, the Necropolis tactic is exactly like that! You take money, buy everything, and then convert it all into skeletons! You say that too many skeletons won't save you, and that vampires can be quickly defeated! In my opinion, this is one of the most difficult tasks, IMHO... I remember playing it too... with Ulan, I think... and I also thought that vampires were nothing, and I was slowly taking them down... but in the end, I wiped out his entire remaining army with them!!!
And by the way, if my memory serves me right, TK (Town Kill) takes less than 50 minutes to play... it's not as fast as it seems ;)
