Pop music and your opinion about it.

Listening to metal just to show off – that's a typical statement from someone who listens to music regardless of the style (I forgot what it's called :D). It's as silly as saying that heavy music makes you stupid. I don't understand what I would gain from listening to music that I don't like. Would I become cooler? Oh yes, I'll tell everyone, "Look, I listen to all kinds of music, regardless of the genre, unlike you." If a person enjoys this kind of music (metal) and is disgusted by all sorts of pop music, they should still listen to all genres, yes, and broaden their musical horizons.
