Necropolis with the necropatch is definitely not as strong as it could be with necromancy. Therefore, to balance the castle, it was removed. The other changes mentioned were made for the same purpose. Necropolis remains the strongest castle overall, but the difference with its main competitors (Brog, Monia) is quite small, and you can compete with a real chance of success.
