I confirm.

I won't describe the game day by day; I'll only mention my mistakes.
1. Took the medusa external dwelling (well, they became too frequent in the portal)
2. Old notions about which neutrals can be broken through, based on battles between ranged armies.
3. When I go to the surface, I forget about the lack of home territory bonus
4. And I should have taken the dwarf dwellings earlier on my respawn, instead of fighting into the treasure zone and complaining about the lack of money.

With such play, even my own secondary buildings didn't help me.
Two days before FB, I still managed to take two Dragon Utopia-3s. In the first one, I got a level 5 hat, which allowed me to Dimension Door to the second one. In the second one, I got an earth book, which allowed me to return back.
In the final battle, there was no chance against the angels even without the red orb.
