Inferno tactics.

How do you create demons from slain creatures in battle? Do you resurrect them using improved potions? And how do you create demons from undead creatures? Also, you can't do it with half of the creatures in the Conflux (butterflies and phoenixes won't work), and you can't resurrect demons from Necropolis creatures. Am I right, or am I mistaken?
