You found something to complain about! This is nonsense. And the patch isn't very good – the desynchronization issue is still there.
P.S. Did you receive the two new maps they promised to send by email?
Those two maps were in patch 1.2, and regarding the registration, where they said they would send them by email, it's just a scam.
