Dialogues with Moderators

If we avoid personal attacks and speak in general terms, the correct approach is as follows: If, during a game or tournament, one of the players forms the opinion (or has a suspicion) that someone is playing unfairly (e.g., cheating), then: 1. They can act like an ostrich (burying their head in the sand) – add the suspected player to their blacklist and never play with them again. 2. Gather evidence of the alleged unfair play or rule violation, and, *without public accusations or swearing*, in the thread, contact the tournament organizer, section moderator, or coordinator (whichever they choose) to investigate the alleged rule violation by the player. The site has many strong, competent players who can provide a balanced and informed opinion (due to their skill) on whether there were any violations (or cheating). After this, an official statement is made in the thread that the player violated the rules and that appropriate sanctions will be applied. P.S. – We must not forget about the presumption of innocence. Even if you are 100% sure that a player has violated the rules, the verdict must still be officially issued by the site's officials after an investigation. Otherwise, if you publicly insult someone and call them a cheater, and then it turns out that you were wrong, it will be very embarrassing, and you will have to publicly apologize.
