When playing as Castle and Rampart, if your archers are upgraded, taking Necropolis is the most enjoyable thing to do. Here, read this; everything is described /topic/3574/
I see you're all so smart. One of you sent pictures showing how he takes a maximum-level Necropolis with the army I had (20 Marksmen and 32 Pikemen). He even added three more Pikemen – it’s a small detail, but that gives his archers an extra 3 turns... and still, he lost 3 Marksmen and about ten Pikemen after much effort in single player mode. In a real battle, without fairies or other distractions, attempting to take an unknown Necropolis with such an army is dangerous and should not be done unless absolutely necessary, especially if there are other places to go and things to do. My opinion remains unchanged. As for Rampart, it's clear that it's easy to take because they rarely have less than 50 units, and even without archers, they can easily handle it. In general, no matter how clever you try to be and provide other examples involving fairies, horses, 50 Pikemen, and 30+ Marksmen, trying to take an unknown Necropolis with an army consisting of 32 Pikemen, 20 Marksmen, and 15 Gnolls, which has also been reduced after breaking through a block of around 40 White Goblins on grass, is extremely dangerous in a real online game. Examples from single-player games where this succeeds on the 10th attempt don't convince me. The issue is closed for me. By the way, there’s nothing similar to taking a maximum-level Necropolis with the described army in that link.
