Since you asked, here's how I took the Hive on the FIRST try (without using a luck strike, without morale for the elf army, and with only one morale for the flies) – 44 centaurs remained!!! (without the elves, it was even easier; if the centaurs had even one luck strike at the beginning...)

This isn't a theoretical question; a legitimate concern has been raised about fair play. The point isn't just to defeat 28 ogre mages and then immediately take the Hive with a level 6 Mephala. The point is that after that, the losses should be exactly as described (or comparable) – 7 elves, 2 dwarves, 21 butterflies – all centaurs, mermaids, and air elementals should be intact (because one air elemental is given to Jelar to scatter the enemy). In my opinion, this is impossible. I believe there was unfair play involved.

Let the girl simply describe the battle plan step by step. A save isn't necessary.
