Sacred Haven of Debauchery

These jerks moved my New Year's message to the Holidays section; it certainly belongs there, but no one will see it there, and I practically personally congratulated everyone! It's all so absurd; everyone will celebrate the arrival of the new year as if on cue. They invented it themselves, and now they're celebrating. These idiots on TV will shower everyone with compliments just to get more people to watch their commercials. Everyone will wish each other all sorts of nonsense, hoping to earn even more money in the new year and make their lives even better, without thinking about those who are freezing in the basement; after all, today is a holiday. Why are they forcing me to be happy? Why does someone decide for me that I should be cheerful today? These damn traditions and stereotypes have never benefited either the individual or society.
