I read "Knights of the Forty Islands," which some recommend as children's fantasy. Frankly, children might be able to read it calmly and sleep afterward, but I couldn't. The story is short, even too short, and there are few details, but it had a significant impact on me. It's not that I didn't understand everything that was being said before, but as you know, when everything you've been thinking about is suddenly pointed out to you by someone else, it has a powerful effect. Everyone should read it. And yes, it's written in a very chaotic way – I'm still reeling from the story (I read it yesterday).
