There was a game like that. I lost tempo in the first week, barely managed to get cavalry into the Stronghold and started leveling Turis. In the second week, things got a bit easier: a native secondary hero and 2 external dwellings of Crushers, but I was critically short on gold - only 2 gold-producing buildings from two respawn points. In the end, I didn't have the gold to transport the main army out of the capital, so I decided not to drag it out and attacked myself - they had mass slow, and I had nothing to counter it with.
