The gameplay is indeed worthy. But no matter how much I look at the fifth installment, I don't see any reason to call it the fifth. There's a game – Heroes of Malgrium – the gameplay is like Heroes. But is it really Heroes? The spirit is completely different, a different world, different rules. The same goes for the fifth installment. A different world, different rules, a different game. It's not the fifth, but rather, let's say, Heroes of New Worlds, or something like that. The fourth was set in a new world, with a radical change in gameplay, and yet it's worthy of being called part of the Heroes universe. But the fifth is quite self-sufficient. The developers themselves have disowned the past, everything except the brand. But the brand is not Heroes. That's how it is.
That they would release another campaign for Heroes 3 under the number 5?
Or that they would add new, beautiful monsters to Heroes 3 and change the number 3 to 5???
Or maybe you want WOG2???
I agree, the previous storyline is a thing of the past (perhaps the only real downside)... but what now? Progress doesn't stand still...
As for everything else, we have a true Heroes game in front of us!
